Fassi 1500 AXP

Fassi 1500 AXP is the Mega lifter for a vehicle mounted crane, to lift these kind of weights in the past was impossible, you would have to hire a 40 ton mobile crane. With this equipment we can lift your load on to our vehicle and transport it and then lift it off again at the final destination. This vehicle does away with having to hire two cranes for the job, making it miles more cost effective to use us, Diamond.

The crane can lift 25200kg at 4.15 m, and at 26.8 metres it can lift 2150 kg and it can also carry these loads, with its winch fitted, roof top deliveries are not a problem, we can lift over a roof of 20 metres high and lower the load on to the roof.

The crane can short rig the stabilisers so we can do road side deliveries with ease, not having to put legs out in to the road causing an obstruction to traffic and because the crane does not have ballast weight on it like a conventional crane, we do not have the problem of the weight sticking out in to the road either, which means we do not need road closures in most cases.

This Volvo 8x 4 wheel drive tractor unit with the 1500 AXP crane is the only one in the UK at the moment, Diamond H Transport and The Crane centre Sandbach along with Volvo Trucks and Fassi Cranes worked together, to put on the road this Mega lifter also this vehicle has the best turning circle you could ever get with its rear steering trailer, it drives the same as a normal artic lorry which is unbelievable I know but it's true! We put many hours in to the design and fabrication of this vehicle to make it just right for UK roads and restricted access areas.
