Diamond H Transport was formed in 1975 by Roy Holding and two partners, after a steady stream of business due to thier reliability and reputation, the company was incorporated in 1978. In 1981 Roy Holding, wanting to build a larger family business, bought out his two partners.

Roy along with his staff, specialised in rigid vehicles, building up the part loads end of the business covering all of the UK. In 1988 after 13 years of success, Diamond H Transport bought a large fleet of artic and crane vehicles diversifying the business and moving away from the specialist part load sector. Diamond H Transport Ltd. continued to grow steadily. In 1994 Roy Holding handed over the healm of the company to his son, Steve Holding. The combination of Roy's experience along with Steve's enthusiasm has built Diamond H Transport into one of the largest Haulage companies in the North West.
